In the myth “Arachne,” the rising action is the story of how Arachne became famous for her weaving. Also in the rising action, we learn about how Arachne meets an old woman who turns out to be Athene. This interaction leads to the climax, where Arachne and the goddess have a weaving competition. In the resolution, Arachne is turned into a spider.
