Creating an Outline
Use the chart below and work with your group to create an outline of your presentation. Match the numbered tasks below with the number you’ve been assigned within your group. The task or question that matches your number is your responsibility to complete. Use the Internet and other resources as needed.

Review all of the material from Unit 3, paying close attention to the Language Resources charts. Skim over the Informative Introduction Writing Prompt at the end of this activity.
Use your completed graphic organizers, your brainstorming document, the Language Resources charts on this page, and all of your notes to draft your informative introduction and prepare for your multimedia presentation. Include transitional words, imagery, the present progressive verb tense, and syntax that strengthen your claim.
