Presenting a Multimedia Campaign Informative/Explanatory Writing

Step 1: Introduction
You will be identifying an important social issue you are interested in and feel strongly about. Next, you will write a brief informational introduction to use when you present a multimedia campaign with your group.
Informative Introduction Writing Prompt:
Be sure to:
• Engage and inform the audience in the introduction.
• State your topic and claim clearly.
• Cite text evidence (logos and pathos) from your research to support the claim. • State the call to action and reinforce it in the conclusion.
Step 2: Brainstorming
Now you are ready to start thinking about what you will present. Use the graphic organizer to brainstorm about your essay and presentation. Record your responses.
