• Use knowledge of morphology (e.g., affixes, roots, and base words), context, reference materials, and visual cues to determine the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words on familiar topics.

The Taming of the Shrew is a drama that was written by Shakespeare hundreds of years ago. It contains unfamiliar words and multiple-meaning words. To find out the meaning of these words, you can use context clues. There are different kinds of context clues to help you.
