- Academic Performance Indicator (API) Gains
At Tetzlaff Middle School in Los Angeles, students have gained more than 60 points on the California Academic Performance Index since SpringBoard was introduced in both mathematics and English Language Arts for all seventh and eighth graders. - Increased AP® Enrollment and Improved AP Performance
A recent study in Florida show that high schools using SpringBoard for 3-5 years had substantially more students enrolled in AP courses and also had more students scoring higher on AP exams.* - Gains among African American and Hispanic Students
In the same Florida study noted above, SpringBoard schools had a 109% and 52% gain in the number of Black and Hispanic students, respectively, enrolled in AP courses. SpringBoard schools also experienced gains in the numbers of Black and Hispanic students scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP exam.

*Study conducted by the College Board and Fordham University examined Advanced Placement and SAT® participation and performance trends of the graduating cohorts of students who have attended high schools that have purchased SpringBoard. Phase One of the study encompassed 106 SpringBoard high schools in 12 districts in the state of Florida.
