As you move on to Activity 3, be aware of sentence patterns and make efforts to choose varying patterns to increase clarity and interest. It is very easy to repeat sentence patterns, so a revision of sentence structure is sometimes necessary to avoid repetition. Use what you have learned about varying sentence lengths and sentence beginnings to avoid a predictable pattern, and when necessary revise to create more variety.
