Revising/Editing
6. After rereading your group’s draft, discuss these strategies for revision: Adding: How can we communicate our tone and theme more effectively by
adding imagery (descriptive and figurative language) and sound techniques? Consider adding language that uses onomatopoeia or alliteration.
Rearranging: What revisions should be made to rearrange the structure of lines or stanzas? Where can we change our line breaks for effect or emphasis?
Deleting: Are there any words or lines that do not contribute to our meaning or tone?
Editing: Are there mistakes in conventions that should be corrected?
