Planning an essay
Now plan a brief essay about one of the irreverent events you listed. Or, if you prefer, you can write about “I’ve got a few pet peeves about sea creatures.” Before you begin to write your essay, jot down answers to these questions:

What serious issue was raised? Who was the intended audience? How did the audience react?
