3. Play the following drama game with a small group or with a partner: Choose
a simple question, such as “What are you doing?” and a response such as “Nothing important.” Sitting in a circle, have one student ask the question
in a happy tone of voice and the student to the left respond in a happy tone. Then, have the responder repeat the question in a different tone. Keep moving clockwise around the circle until you run out of different emotions.
4. Describe the tone you would expect in a monologue by a man who is in love with a woman who refuses to see him.
5. Work with a partner or small group to summarize how the speaker feels about love.
